Plan winter site work
Frozen ground, snow storage, concrete protection and short daylight affect foundations and crane operations. Winter roads may improve remote access yet create spring constraints.
Modules should not arrive to an inaccessible or snow-filled foundation because the plant schedule is complete.
Operate and inspect
Watch for ice dams, condensation and uneven snow accumulation around roof transitions. Maintain ventilation and safely manage exterior exhausts.
Seasonal movement at porches, stairs and utility connections should be investigated rather than hidden with trim or sealant.

For cold, snow and winter-climate projects, create a dated project note tied to the destination address and current drawing revision. Identify the authority, designer, factory or contractor responsible for each unresolved item. Attach the written evidence for ‘What local snow, wind and frost data are used?’ and ‘How will winter concrete and site access be managed?’ rather than recording a verbal assurance.
Before a deposit, production release, shipment or final payment, convert every open question into a named action with an owner and deadline. Keep superseded drawings and decisions in the record so later inspectors, lenders, insurers and future owners can understand why the completed house differs from an early sales plan.
